CEP Annual General Meeting

5 May 2023
Our insightful Annual General Meeting united CEP committee members and staff to provide an in-depth update on the organisation and analyse what the future holds. Some of the highlights include hearing from Andrea Del Monaco, Deputy Secretary at Schools Workforce Group and Peter Shearer, Principal of St Josephs Primary School, Clare, South Australia. Our panel discussion featured representatives from GenU and Torrens University, and we had a special presentation from the RESN team. We want to express our gratitude to all the speakers, attendees, and everyone who made this AGM a resounding success.

CEP Rural Education Dinner

4 May 2023

The atmosphere was electric as we gathered with members, committee members, life members, CEP staff, interstate visitors, and esteemed representatives from education organisations.

The highlight of the evening was our exceptional lineup of speakers who connected all their experiences to the power of education. Paige Scott, a nineteen-year-old AFLW player, shared her personal journey of attending a small rural school. Next, we heard from the remarkable Gill Hicks, whose words moved, and inspired everyone in the room. Finally, John Swan, took us on a journey through his youth and the incredible, yet sometimes rocky, path that led him to where he stands today.

The Rural Education Dinner was an unforgettable night of inspiration, laughter, and connection.
