Membership
The Country Education Partnership has a number of membership categories including:
Rural Education Organisation Membership for those education communities (including early years services, schools and further education) who fulfil the guidelines detailed within the CEP Constitution.
Individual Membership for individuals who fulfil the rural guidelines detailed within the CEP Constitution.
Associate Membership for any education organisations (including early years, schools or higher education), or other organisations, who have an interest in, or have similar objectives as the Country Education Partnership.

There is a small annual Membership Fee that is required – amounts are detailed in the membership information.

We encourage all rural schools in Victoria being a member of CEP.
The benefits include:
Opportunity for CEP to advocate on your behalf
Discount entry to CEP events
Scholarships to Torrens University for all students and staff in member schools
Access to all CEP staff to advocate on your behalf
Full access to PD online and Job Directory
Additional support if part of Energy Breakthrough program
Opporunity to receive Cluster support
For state government Victorian schools – access to Teach Rural
Membership Categories
Rural Education Organisation
Those education organisations who fulfil the guidelines determined by Country Education Partnership and outlined briefly below.
These guidelines include:
- located at least 1.5 hours travel from State Capital CBD
- located at least 15 minutes drive from a population centre of at least 10,000
- less than 5,000 population in their own right
- limited, or no, access to public services
Such members are entitled to attend Country Education Partnership meetings, and to nominate for the Committee of Management.
Individual Person Member
Those individual persons who live within a rural community that fulfil the Country Education Partnerships definition of rural above, or has an interest in rural education issues. Such members are entitled to attend CEP’s meetings but are not entitled to be nominated for the Committee of Management.
Associate Member
Any education organisation or association who shares similar aims to the Country Education Partnership. Such members are entitled to attend Country Education Partnership meetings but are not entitled to be nominated to the Committee of Management.
