National Project Coordinator
- Hours: Full Time, 38 hours per week
- Status: Initially for 12-month, with potential for renewal, subject to funding and performance review.
- Location: To be negotiated with the successful applicant.
About the Role
Rural Inspire is looking for a National Project Coordinator to work within a committed team, leading the expansion of Rural Inspire, nationally. We are looking for a highly-credentialed person who is passionate about rural and remote young people, and is committed to increasing their aspirations through the provision of a range of activities, programs and services.
The National Project Coordinator will build strong partnerships with key stakeholder groups as we develop and implement the national Rural Inspire brand and initiatives.
The National Project Coordinator will also work in partnership with the Rural Youth Ambassador Alumni, involving them meaningfully in as much of the programming as possible.

Specifically, the National Project Coordinator will have:

- Substantial relevant experience in project coordination, particularly working with young people;

Rural Inspire is seeking a dynamic and energetic young person to become the National Project Officer and work within a committed team, leading the national expansion of our Rural Youth Ambassador programs within the Rural Inspire initiative.
We are looking for a creative person who is passionate about rural and remote young people, has experience in the development and provision of youth leadership programs, and is committed to increasing youth aspirations across our network of education communities.
The National Project Officer will also work in partnership with the Rural Youth Ambassador Alumni, building strong partnerships with key stakeholder groups to develop and implement the national Rural Youth Ambassador leadership programs.
About the Candidate
You will be flexible, enthusiastic, motivated and willing to play an active part in a collaborative and close-knit team.
Specifically, the National Project Officer will have:
- Substantial experience in project coordination — particularly projects involving young people;
- An innovative approach to your work;
- Expertise in the development and provision of projects;
- The ability to forge and sustain relationships and partnerships;
- And a real passion for rural and remote communities.
