After an absence of two years, TAP’s On! 2022 has returned. An interactive, peer-led demonstration of what the Timboon Agriculture Project (TAP) have accomplished this year.
On Tuesday November 8th, TAP’s On! will showcase how Timboon P-12 staff and students are integrating agriculture and community into the curriculum to support learning outcomes across their campus. Over four hundred and fifty students from Timboon P-12 School and Nullawarre and District Primary School will be rotating through peer-led activities based on the work undertaken in the classroom. From 10.00am to 1.00pm, students will be rotating through a series of workshops, almost like ‘speed dating’ on agriculture!
TAP’s On! demonstrates how agriculture and community engagement are integrated into the curriculum through different interactive classroom and off-campus activities.
Experts or mentors are invited to assist the presenting students from Years four to ten in their peer-led workshops for our expo. Students will demonstrate what they have learned or will learn in the classroom, covering such diverse topics such as Picasso cow, tourism maths, how things grow, duck tales, on the move, hamburger careers, running maths, getting fleeced, coding, recycling/sustainability, CSI Timboon, forces in restored engines and machines, electrical currents in fencing operations and genes with teens.
TAP’s On! will also feature Masterchef finalist Tim Bone who will run a series of workshops for the students and will host a Tim’s Toasties Masterclass for our guests at lunchtime from 1.00pm – 2.00pm.
Students, ex-students, parents, members of the public, local businesses, industry representatives and educators are invited to join Timboon P-12 staff, students and industry contributors to observe and celebrate some of the remarkable initiatives the TAP has enabled.
Since the TAP began in mid-2012, they have had over 572 industry personnel and community members provide either direct curriculum content to students or provide PD for teachers. For more information see the invitation pictured below or head to the Timboon P-12 website and select the TAP blog post.

TAP wish to acknowledge the support of the Gall, Uebergang and Lane Foundations for their backing of the TAP in 2021/2022. TAP’s On! 2022 is proudly sponsored by Westpac Bank.
