Rural Youth Ambassador program update

On Monday the 11th of September we welcomed back this year’s Rural Youth Ambassador group for our 3rd forum of 2023, held in Melbourne.

It was wonderful to catch up with this amazing collection of young people who are a credit to themselves, their families and their school community.

Many  topics were covered including updating Department staff on our Mental Health in schools thoughts and ideas, Careers, Pathways and work experience and updates on students Community Projects.

The group also heard from the team at CAFS in Ballarat re the impacts of gambling and gaming on young people. We also visited RMIT, engaged in a wellbeing drumming workshop and built on our teamwork skills at Laser Tag. We look forward to seeing our Ambassadors again for the 2023 graduation on Tuesday the 17th of October.

Thanks also to the CEP including Amelie, Annette, Shane and Mark for their wonderful support.
