With the rural education sector eager to attract and retain quality graduates to rural and remote learning communities, combined with excellent feedback from the group of graduates that embarked on the tour last year, the initiative has been supported to once again be offered in 2014.
The focus of the tour will include:
- contemporary learning
- personalized learning
- use of digital learning
- learning spaces
The tour is a 10 day which includes:
- participation in the highly regarded ULearn Conference in Rotorua
- schools visits to a range of learning environments that are involved in providing contemporary teaching and learning for their students.
- meeting with highly regarded education leaders.
Dates: 7th October to 17th October
Venue: New Zealand
Who For: Rural New Graduates – up to four years after graduating.
CEP will facilitate a 10 day tour for up to 15 rural new graduates to New Zealand to explore and see a range of contemporary learning settings (including use of communication technology, learning spaces, etc) and attend the highly regarded Ulearn conference.
