Rural New Graduate Forum

Stephen Heppell talks in MelbourneThis is the last chance for Rural New Graduates to be involved in a “once in a lifetime” professional development activity on Monday, 14th November in Melbourne.

CEP has been lucky to get access to one of the world’s leading education speakers on 21st century learning (Mr Stephen Heppell) to work with new graduates for the day. This is a fantastic opportunity for new graduate teachers and will provide a great opportunity to hear about some of the thinking needed to engage our students into the future.

Stephen is an engaging presenter and is a sought after speaker across the globe. He has worked closely with a number of schools around the world (includingAustralia) in developing exciting and engaging approaches to learning for young people of today. He will explore how young people learn today; the development of effective learning spaces; using technology effectively; and a range of other areas.

In addition to having Stephen, Apple Australia has offered to support a range of workshops for participants outlining some exciting practical examples of how this learning takes place in schools. A great “hands on” experience for the participants.

The forum will also provide the opportunity for rural new graduates from across the state to meet other new graduates, develop networks, and to share their experience with other new graduates.

This forum will be held on Monday, 14th November in Melbourne and is free for rural new graduates.

Registration for the Forum has closed.
