Rural Learning Summit 2019
The Country Education Partnership (CEP) is pleased to announce the return of its esteemed Rural Learning Summit.
To be held in the early stages of Term Three, the summit will bring together key stakeholders and contributors to disect the growing challenge of attracting and retaining quality educators in rural and remote communities.
The event location and date will be announced in coming weeks — keep an eye on your Bush Voices email — but early indications are that it will be staged in a rural location within proximity to Ballarat.
What Can You Expect?
The Rural Learning Summit will bring together a range of people from rural and remote eduction communities, universities, local government, education sectors and state government, exploring the challenges associated with recruiting and retaining quality staff.
It will also provide an in-depth discussion and evaluation of various creative and innovative ‘solutions’.
The summit will be facilitated through a series of presentations designed to challenge and prompt constructive thinking.
It will also draw on the learnings of similar approaches that have been developed and utilised within the health industry.
Time to Register
From preliminary discussions with stakeholders, CEP anticipates a high volume of bookings for this event.
