A range of professional learning opportunities are on offered from the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership in 2022.

Enhance culture and wellbeing at your school through emotionally intelligent leadership with the Academy’s online course for principals and assistant principals. Applications close 13 July. Course begins 21 July.

Leading School Improvement
Drive improvement consistently through your school by implementing annual and strategic plans that address students’ health, wellbeing and learning outcomes.

Developed and delivered by Vic Zbar, principals will learn how to be strategic, flexible and agile when implementing changes in line with their School Strategic Plan.

Registrations close 20 July and the course commences 3 August.

Coaching provides principals, assistant principals and executive class principals with an opportunity for short-term focused support to move forward on a strategic priority, specific topic or challenge, and will assist you to problem solve aspects of your role through a proven framework.

Navigating Conflict
Explore common responses to conflict, how to manage challenging responses to conflict and learn how to implement strategies to avoid conflict escalation.
Developed in partnership with the Dispute Settlement Centre Victoria and designed for school staff who are looking to improve their ability to proactively deal with conflict and challenging behaviours that present in a school environment.
