Book Now or Miss Out!

Places are filling fast for the Country Education Partnership’s (CEP) biennial Rural Learning Summit, to be held in Creswick this month.

The Summit will explore the growing challenge of recruiting and retaining quality educators, and education leaders, in rural and remote education communities.

It will bring together a range of people from country communities, universities, local government, education sectors and state government, exploring the many difficulties associated with recruiting and retaining quality staff in country schools.

Participants will focus on identifying and exploring key concepts that could be established to better support rural and remote communities addressing this issue.

Attendance at the summit is capped at 70 people, allowing for an interactive and comprehensive group discussion, with input from researchers, interstate and international education jurisdictions, related industry sectors such as health, and current rural and remote educators.

CEP Chief Executive Phil Brown has urged interested parties to register promptly because bookings are almost full.

Expressions of Interest should be emailed to the Country Education Partnership via admin@cep.org.au
