Outside School Hours Care Educator / Coordinator

Porepunkah Primary School is after an OSHC Coordinator and an Educator.

We are after an educator who wants to work between 3 - 15 hours per week or up to 25 hours per week.

We will pay above award rates for the right candidate and will support all training requirements.

Below is the role description for the Coordinator Role.

The OSHC Coordinator is employed by the Porepunkah Primary School Council and performs the following in their role:

• Accountable to the School Council through reporting on a regular basis to both the school principal and the School Council.
• Responsible for the quality of care ensuring it is of a high standard.  They must ensure the service complies with the Children's Services Regulations and the National Quality Framework for OSHC and the school policies and procedures.
• Ensures the educational and recreational programs offered are done in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment for all children attending the program.
• Responsible for the supervision of any staff and volunteers.
• Authorised to spend the OSHC budget for the purpose of purchasing food, drink and other consumables.
