Expansion to Sir John Jones Program

Country Education Partnership welcomes back Sir John Jones in June for a series of one day events across Victoria with the theme:
“Making a REAL Difference to Student Learning”.
With such a thirst from the education sector to hear Sir John Jones in person, we have added an extra half day forum for the 26th of June to be hosted in Ballarat.
Registrations from clusters, schools and individuals with an interest in education have been coming in thick and fast since registrations opened a fortnight ago- so much so, that one event location is nearing capacity WHILE a half day forum at Ballarat has been added to the program to accommodate the growing interest.
Since having first spoken in Australia four years ago, Sir John Jones has established a reputation as an educational thinker who is not only inspirational, well-researched and engaging but also very entertaining. Being in the company of Sir John Jones as he dissects what it takes to make a difference to student learning, educators feel empowered and motivated, leaving with ‘a fire in their bellies’, keen to be that educator that has the power to make a difference in a young person’s life.
This year, The Country Education Partnership, in partnership with a number of rural education communities, is pleased to be hosting Sir John Jones across rural communities throughout Victoria and South Australia during June and July.
In response to demand, an extra half day event to be hosted in Ballarat has been added to the schedule.

Sir John will be facilitating a series of one day forums in four locations across Victoria:

  • Monday, 26th June in Ballarat (9.00am until 1.00pm)
  • Tuesday, 27th June in Wodonga
  • Wednesday, 28th June in South Gippsland
  • Friday, 30th June in Mildura

Throughout these forums, Sir John will remind educators of the tremendous power they have to transform lives and also explore how their role will have to adapt to a rapidly changing world – indeed one that does not yet exist.

While exploring some new thinking around free learning, growth mindsets, school in the cloud and expeditionary learning, Sir John will underpin his message with a reminder that while children will forget most of what we make them think they will never forget how we made them feel.’

So, bring your leadership team, or your whole staff, to one of these outstanding and highly engaging forums, facilitated by one of the world’s most sought after and inspiring education leaders and presenters.
