Dear CEP,

I contacted you over the Christmas break, so this is just a follow up (so I do hope that you have returned to work?)

I am proposing a partnership with CEP and my production company, Soul Theatre Incorporated as we are educating society about the seriousness of the Climate Change Crisis. The rural communities are one of the communities that Climate Change has the most damaging affects.

I am aware of this since I originate from South Gippsland. (Where the farm overlooks Wilson's Promontory plus Tarwin Lower; and we have had farms in the Mallee and East Gippsland, near Dargo.)
Hence my request to partner our two organisations.

Further details of mine are (03) 9481 2626 or 0425 728 427 or alicia@soultheatre.org.au.

Wishing you all a WONDERFUL 2012 and all the very best with CEP's continued great work!

Lots of Love and Peace,

Alicia Liley.
CEO/Artistic Director.

Dear Wendy,

I have founded a production company, Soul Theatre Incorporated in 1994.
We are currently creating a 2-4 year work entitled, THE CLIMAMANIA PROJECT. It is educating society and the politicians about the seriousness of the Climate Change Crisis, bringing solutions in how we can all tackled this reality.

Due to circumstances, we were not able to submit to the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority for our 2012 production of the Australian Premiere of the UK Playwright Steve Waters' THE CONTINGENCY PLAN. Soul Theatre's last two productions were incorporated into the VCE Curriculum, so we connect to schools.
However, we are educating the whole of society with the aim of bringing the wider community together to work collaboratively so as to protect those whom require more protection in relation to the damaging affects of Climate Change. Such communities as the elderly, infants and youth; the disabled, homeless and sick; the Aborigines, the Rural Communities and the poor.

I am proposing that Soul Theatre Inc. and CEP partner for mutual benefits. My details to follow on from considering this partnership are as follows:
(03) 9481 2626
alicia@soultheatre.org.au

HAPPY NEW YEAR Wendy!!!!!! Looking forward to meeting you whenever that may be.

Lots of Love and Peace,

Alicia Liley.

This collaboration is an excellent example of what can be achieved when people are excited about learning outside of the usual contexts. I commend Tyrrell College and all the industry, community and education supporters that saw the big picture of the needs of students and agriculture, worked hard to make a solution, and were well rewarded with excellent learning and a valuable financial reward from NAB. I hope you will consider being involved in Australian Year of the Farmer next year as your acheivements will serve well to inspire others to follow your lead.
